Health & data policy

What this tool is

Robyn helps you organize your symptoms and reason about possible mechanisms behind them. It is an educational research companion, not a medical service. The output is generated by AI and is not reviewed by a clinician.

What this tool is NOT

  • Not medical advice. Nothing here diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents any condition.
  • Not a substitute for professional care. Always consult a qualified clinician about your health, especially before changing medications, treatments, or diets.
  • Not for emergencies. If you are in crisis or experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in the US) or go to the nearest emergency room.
  • Not HIPAA-covered. Robyn is not a healthcare provider, health plan, or clearinghouse, so HIPAA does not apply here. We treat your data carefully anyway — see below.

AI can be wrong

Robyn's reasoning is produced by large language models. These models can be confidently incorrect, miss context, or surface irrelevant possibilities. Treat its output as one input to your own thinking — not as an answer. Verify anything that would change your behavior with a clinician.

What we store

The information we keep about you is:

  • The email address you sign up with (see "How we email you" below).
  • The complaint, intake answers, and notes you type into the tool — symptoms, history, test results, treatment trials, and similar.
  • The case files Robyn generates from your input — mechanism lists, agent reasoning, and ruling-out outputs.
  • Basic technical logs (timestamps, error traces) needed to operate the service.

How we email you

We use the email on your account for these things:

  • Sign-in links. Sent each time you log in.
  • Service messages.Onboarding steps, reminders and follow-ups for features you've started (for example, daily check-ins you've scheduled or an intake you haven't finished), and notifications when a case is ready. These are part of running the product for you.
  • Account & policy notices. Security alerts, material changes to these policies, or other important updates about your account.

Service messages have a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer. Unsubscribing stops them; sign-in links and important account or security notices keep coming as long as your account is active.

We don't send promotional newsletters, ads, or third-party messages. If we ever start a true marketing list, it will be opt-in and managed separately from the emails above.

What we don't do with your data

  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not share your data with insurers, employers, advertisers, or data brokers.
  • We do not use your case content to train third-party AI models.
  • We don't run targeted ads — Robyn is not an ad-supported product.

Who can see your case

Yousee your own case in your dashboard. While Robyn is in early access, a small admin team may view case contents to debug issues, improve the agent, or respond to support requests. We'll narrow that access as the product matures and will note when that changes.

We may use de-identified, aggregated patterns (for example, "how often does the agent surface SIBO when the complaint is bloating?") to evaluate and improve Robyn. Anything we look at in this mode is detached from your email and identity.

Deleting your data

You can request deletion of your account and case data at any time by emailing support@robynhealth.comfrom the address you signed up with. We'll confirm and complete deletion within 30 days. Some technical logs may persist briefly in backups before they roll off.

Eligibility

Robyn is for adults (18+). If you are under 18, please use it only with a parent or guardian. Don't use Robyn on behalf of someone else without their permission.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page as Robyn evolves. Material changes will be communicated via the email on your account before they take effect.
